Who this covers
Plain English: This covers our website and our services. It doesn’t cover what our clients do on their own sites.
This policy explains how Kingdom Performance Group, LLC, doing business as Anvil Rise ("Anvil Rise," "we," "us") handles personal information on anvilrise.com and in the services we provide to churches and other ministry organizations ("Services").
If you contacted one of our clients through a website or follow-up system we built, that organization is responsible for its own privacy practices. We handle your information on that organization’s behalf, as described in section 5.
Mobile communication policy
Plain English: We only text you if you asked us to. Reply STOP and it ends. We never sell or share your number.
We send SMS and MMS messages only to people who have given prior express consent. Consent is collected through an optional, separately selected checkbox on our website, or through a written agreement when you become a client. Consent is never a condition of purchase, and marketing consent is collected separately from service and transactional consent.
- What you may receive. Service and account notifications, replies to your inquiries, appointment confirmations and reminders, and, if you separately opted in, promotions and offers.
- Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop all further messages.
- Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the details in section 14.
- Frequency. Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us.
- Cost. Message and data rates may apply, per your carrier’s terms.
- Delivery. Carrier networks are outside our control and we cannot guarantee delivery of any message.
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and message content are processed by our messaging and CRM provider, LeadConnector (GoHighLevel), and by telecommunications carriers, solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive.
Information we collect from you directly
Plain English: What you type into our forms, plus basic technical data about your visit.
- Inquiry and contact details. When you start a conversation, we collect your name, church or organization name, email address, phone number, website details, and anything you tell us about your needs. We use the phone number to contact you when requested.
- Client account and billing data. If you become a client, we collect the organization, contact, and billing information needed to run your account. If you use metered services, we also process related usage and billing records. Our payment processor, Stripe, handles card transactions; we do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring page, logged automatically by our hosting and platform providers.
How we use it
Plain English: To answer you, run your account, deliver the work, and keep the lights on. Not to sell you out.
- Responding to your inquiry and holding any call you request.
- Delivering, supporting, maintaining, and improving the Services.
- Billing, accounting, and account administration.
- Sending service and account notifications, and, where you have opted in, marketing messages you can stop at any time.
- Security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and meeting our legal obligations.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Information we process for our clients
Plain English: Your people’s details belong to your church. We only handle them to run the services you asked for, and they leave with you.
Running a church website, inquiry form, review process, or optional guest follow-up system means personal information about visitors, members, guests, and other contacts may pass through our systems. That information can include names, phone numbers, email addresses, message content, and follow-up details.
For that information you are the controller and we act as your processor. We use it only to provide the Services to you and on your instructions. We do not sell it, we do not use it to market to your contacts on our own behalf, and we do not use it to build a marketing list of our own. Your contact list, inquiries, and reviews are yours and go with you if you leave, as set out in our Terms of Service.
Your obligations as our client. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and, where required, prior express consent to contact people, for maintaining your own privacy policy and messaging disclosures, and for honoring opt-out requests. Our Data Processing Addendum provides the governing details.
Calls and recordings
Plain English: If a call is recorded, you get told at the start and asked first.
Calls to or from numbers provided through the Services may be recorded or transcribed only after the participants have received an in-call notice and the client has obtained the consent required by the laws of the relevant jurisdictions. Because calls may cross state lines, our standard configuration requires notice to all participants and affirmative consent before the substantive conversation continues. Clients control their use of this feature and are responsible for complying with applicable recording and wiretap laws. Anvil Rise may disable recording or transcription when compliant notice and consent cannot be verified.
Cookies
Plain English: Only the cookies needed to make the site and forms work. No tracking, no ad cookies.
We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the site and its forms. We do not currently use analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser, though parts of the site may stop working properly.
Browser privacy signals. We do not currently use analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral advertising, so browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change our current practices. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. If we add technology that makes a legally recognized opt-out preference signal relevant, we will update this policy and honor the signal where required by law before that technology is enabled.
If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy and put any consent mechanism required at that time in place before turning them on.
Who we share information with
Plain English: Only the companies that help us run the service. We do not sell your data.
We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our behalf under contract:
- LeadConnector (GoHighLevel), which provides CRM, messaging, booking, and automation services behind parts of our Services.
- Telecommunications carriers and messaging aggregators, to deliver calls and texts.
- Stripe, for payment processing.
- Website hosting and email providers.
- Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.
We may also transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will tell you.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How long we keep it
Plain English: As long as we need it, then we get rid of it.
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. When you close your account we will, on request, export your Client Content to you and then delete or de-identify it within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records by law.
Your rights and choices
Plain English: Ask us what we have, ask us to fix it, or ask us to delete it.
Depending on where you live and how the applicable law applies to us, you may have the right to ask us to confirm whether we process your personal information; access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of it; obtain information about certain third-party disclosures; opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; withdraw consent; and appeal a refusal. We do not currently sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or use it for targeted advertising.
To make a request or appeal, email privacy@anvilrise.com. We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. If you are one of our clients’ contacts, that client is normally the controller of your information. We will refer the request to the client and assist it as required by our DPA and applicable law.
Security
Plain English: We protect it properly, but nobody can promise perfection.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Plain English: Our services are for organizations, not kids.
The Services are intended for organizations and people over 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. A church client may process information about children through its own services only when it has a lawful basis and uses safeguards appropriate to that information. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will address it promptly.
Changes to this policy
Plain English: If we change something that matters, we’ll tell you.
We may update this policy. We will change the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give clients notice by email or in the account before the change takes effect.
